HOW THE GAME WORKS
--------------------------------------------------

The player starts inside an open combat map.

Enemies exist somewhere on the map and attack when positioned within range.

The player must:

1. Move through the world
2. Detect enemies using sound
3. Align properly with enemies
4. Shoot enemies
5. Survive attacks
6. Rank up over time
7. Continue improving survival ability

--------------------------------------------------
PROFILE SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

Blindfire uses a persistent profile system.

Profiles store:

- Player Name
- Blue Diamonds
- Blackstone Count
- Current Rank
- Current Character Health

Profiles are automatically saved between sessions.

--------------------------------------------------
RANK SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

The player gains ranks over time.

Each rank requires more survival time than the previous rank.

Example:

- Rank 1 → 30 seconds
- Rank 2 → 45 seconds
- Rank 3 → 60 seconds

Higher ranks increase player progression.

--------------------------------------------------
HEALTH SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

The player begins with default health.

Every 25 ranks, the default health doubles.

Examples:

- Rank 1 → Base Health
- Rank 25 → Double Health
- Rank 50 → Double Again
- Rank 75 → Double Again

This system rewards long-term survival.

--------------------------------------------------
REWARD SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

Blue Diamonds:

- Earned by killing enemies
- Represents successful combat

Blackstone:

- Increased when the player dies
- Represents death statistics

--------------------------------------------------

COMBAT SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

Blindfire uses a directional combat system.

Enemies can only be damaged when positioned correctly in front of the player.

The game constantly checks enemy direction and range.

If the enemy is not aligned correctly, shots will miss.

--------------------------------------------------
HOW TO TRACK ENEMIES
--------------------------------------------------

Enemy tracking is based on sound and positioning.

When an enemy enters valid attack range:

- A special enemy range sound starts playing
- The sound repeats continuously while the enemy remains in front range

This sound confirms:

- An enemy exists nearby
- The enemy is positioned correctly for combat
- The player can attempt shooting

If no range sound is heard:

- The enemy is not aligned correctly
- The enemy is outside valid attack range
- Shots will likely miss

--------------------------------------------------
HOW TARGETING WORKS
--------------------------------------------------

Blindfire uses front-direction targeting.

A valid target exists when:

- Enemy is directly ahead on the vertical axis
OR
- Enemy is directly aligned on the horizontal axis

The enemy must also remain inside the combat range limit.

Players must:

1. Move carefully
2. Listen for range sounds
3. Align position correctly
4. Fire only after confirmation

--------------------------------------------------
HOW TO CONFIRM TARGET LOCK
--------------------------------------------------

A target is considered valid when:

- Enemy range sound is active
- Enemy gunfire begins
- Enemy starts damaging the player

These signs confirm that the enemy is aligned and combat-ready.

--------------------------------------------------
PLAYER DAMAGE SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

Player gun damage:

- Minimum damage: 5
- Maximum damage: 25
- Randomized each shot

Enemy gun damage:

- Minimum damage: 2
- Maximum damage: 15
- Randomized each shot

--------------------------------------------------
COMBAT SPEEDS
--------------------------------------------------

Movement speed:

- Player movement update every 230 milliseconds
- Enemy movement update every 60000 milliseconds

Player footstep sound interval:

- 230 milliseconds

Enemy attack and player firing interval:

- 500 milliseconds

Enemy range alert interval:

- 800 milliseconds

--------------------------------------------------
GAME CONTINUATION SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

The game does not end after killing an enemy.

When an enemy dies:

- The enemy is destroyed
- Blue diamond reward is added
- A new enemy instantly spawns at another random location
- Combat continues automatically

The game only ends when:

- Player health reaches zero
OR
- Player manually exits using Q

--------------------------------------------------
SAVE SYSTEM
--------------------------------------------------

The game automatically updates profile progression.

Saved information includes:

- Current rank
- Current health
- Blue diamonds
- Blackstone count

Pressing Q:

- Saves progress
- Restores default health logic
- Returns safely to the game menu

--------------------------------------------------
GAMEPLAY STRATEGY
--------------------------------------------------

Recommended strategy:

1. Move slowly
2. Listen continuously
3. Wait for enemy range confirmation
4. Align carefully
5. Shoot only after confirmation
6. Monitor health frequently
7. Survive long enough to rank up
8. Use Q to safely save progress

--------------------------------------------------
